How do you manufacture sustainable clothing?
At CFB we pride ourselves in being Sustainable Clothing Manufacturers. We adopt ethical and sustainable practices throughout product development including, waste minimization, recycling, resource efficiency and use of local supply chain.
We have spent the last 15 years researching and developing eco-friendly fabrics and sustainable methods of production.
We have implemented on our factories several measures to protect our planet and lower CO2 emissions:
- 55% of electricity used by our factories comes from a green source, Solar Energy, photovoltaic panels
- Boiler water within our factories is pre-heated with solar panels
- All industrial waste is recycled
- Our factories use special roofing materials with major thermal isolation
- All factory windows have UV Ray Protection Films in order to reduce air conditioning usage
- We use controlled tabs for water saving
- All our factories use eco-friendly lighting (bulbs and tube lights)
- We use energy-efficient machines in our production lines
- We have a strong recycling program that separates materials such as paper, plastic, batteries and fabrics
- Whenever possible we reinvest part of our profits in modernizing our facilities and operations making them as green as possible

In addition, the apparel we supply has OEKO-TEX® certification which grants that raw, finished fabrics as well as accessory materials used are tested for harmful substances at all processing levels. These tests take into consideration its purpose and the more intensive the skin contact of a product, the stricter the human-ecological requirements need to be complied to.

How CFB Textile Is Changing Fashion To Eco-Friendly
The main focus of the company is to use recycled cotton.
Using recycled materials from fabric leftovers, CFB is already doing a remarkable job of keeping the system as clean as possible.
CFB runs through various factories that produce premium clothing items aimed at reducing the emission of harmful substances into the environment and eliminating fabric waste.
In addition, their clothes are dyed using at least 70% less water than other standard factories, reducing water consumption as well.
The water is also recycled through a circular circuit and treated until it is good enough to use again.
So there’s no waste in the water being released into the river with the toxic chemicals.
