Conflict in Ukraine – 5 ways of helping the Ukrainian situation CFB(Create Fashion Brand ) helps Ukraine
What happened?
On February 24th, at dawn, Russia invaded the Ukrainian territory spreading terror, fear and insecurity all over the world.
As a company, but also as citizens of a democratic and free country, CFB regrets the whole recurring situation and we wish, above all, world peace and harmony.
As a textile manufacturer, we have direct contact with the international community and share intrinsic values that define us as people.
People who are united, benevolent and, above all, aware that the scenario we are going through is not the best for us, for the world, but more specifically for the Ukrainian people.
How can we help?
In this awful situation, either for Ukraine and people that live there, either for people that have family in Ukraine, it is important that people can be together as one and be more united than ever.
Through donations to NGOs (Non-governmental Organizations), hosting refugees and supporting Ukrainian journalism it is possible to help the country and all those victims of the armed conflict.
There are 5 main organizations, that are receiving help from outsiders in order to help the Ukrainian people and the Ukrainian situation. Those organizations are:

– People in Need
A non-profit NGO that is providing humanitarian aid to more than 200,000 people in in place.
The NGO facilitates, to those most in need, access to food packages, emergency shelter emergency shelter, clean water, financial assistance, and more.
– Ukrainian Red Cross
The organization, responsible for helping refugees and training doctors, says the funds raised will be used for people in need and affected by the conflict, for blood drives, mobilizing volunteers and resources, and emergency activities
– Sunflower of Peace
Organization helps paramedics and doctors and raises funds for medical supplies, including tactical first aid backpacks. According to the fundraiser
which is taking place online, each backpack can help between five and ten people. Inside, they contain resources such as bandages, anti-hemorrhagic medicines and some medical instruments.
The organization is working to repair schools destroyed by the bombings and provides a rapid emergency response to children affected by the conflict.
– Razom for Ukraine
Razom, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization that supports the people of Ukraine in their quest for a democratic society with dignity, justice, and human and civil rights for all.
Razom coordinates volunteer groups and fundraising efforts to build a prosperous Ukraine project by project.

In order to contribute and provide help to the Ukrainian people, CFB will manufacture Baby Slings or Baby Carriers, with the extra fabrics we have in our facilities, so that Ukrainian families can give proper support and assistance to small children.
In this difficult situation children are one of the most affected age groups, so all the help we can provide is needed, in order for them to have comfort and to give mothers who are alone, an easier way to carry and protect their children.
These “Slings” or “Carriers” can also be used and adapted in order to carry and transport small animals, such as dogs and cats, in order to make it easier for Ukrainian people to use during travel outside the country.
Therefore, CFB Team appeals to everyone to help the Ukrainian people, so that together we can overcome this situation and that sooner we finally can have our peace being restored.
